How This Works – The Leader vs. Leader Tournament
Martin Luther King, Jr. vs Gandhi. Buddha vs. Winston Churchill. Mother Teresa vs. Cleopatra. Leader vs. Leader is not just speculation, it is an event. Starting with a field of 96 of the history’s best leaders, Live Your List Nation will decide who is the greatest leader of all-time.
After we narrow the field from 96 to 64, Jerrod and Ryan will place the qualifying leaders in appropriate seeds. Then the fun begins. Each week Live Your List Nation will vote on particular match-ups that will determine which leader will advance to the next round.
We will go from 64 to 32 to 16 to 8 to 4 and eventually the top match-up…which will determine the greatest leader of all-time!
The Early Rounds – From 96 to 64.
The Live Your List hosts, Jerrod Murr & Ryan Eller, polled hundreds of people from across the globe on which leaders should be included in the original list of 96.Kyle the Intern collected the most mentioned leaders from the polls to create the original field. This list includes innovators, civil rights leaders, military gurus, and even royalty.
The field of 96 was randomly separated into 16 groups of six leaders. Ryan and Jerrod will spend several weeks picking the top four leaders in each group who will move on to the official Live Your List Leader vs. Leader tournament bracket.
In this episode, we debate three groups of leaders and leave with 12 official entries into the Live Your List Leader vs. Leader tournament. Two leaders from each group will be eliminated from the tournament, but four leaders will move on to fight for another day. You can see groups 4-6 below.
