What is a BHAG?
From Wikipedia: The term ‘Big Hairy Audacious Goal’ was proposed by James Collins and Jerry Porras in their 1994 book entitled Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies. A BHAG encourages companies to define visionary goals that are more strategic and emotionally compelling.
Dreams vs. BHAG
Dreams are up to someone else.
BHAGs require personal responsibility.
Dreams are fuzzy.
BHAGS have taken shape.
Dreams have no time frame.
BHAGS have a time frame.
A BHAG is a large SMART goal.
