Lessons Learned From One-Hit Wonders

1. Don’t let people define you. How do you define one-hit wonders? There is no such thing as a one-hit wonder, there are just highlights and successes that map your journey. You define your success on that journey.

2. Widen your lens. Life is a marathon not a sprint. Don’t judge your success or failure from one moment of your life. Look over the wide spectrum of events that have led you in the direction you are headed.

3. Who you are is much more important than what you do. We are defined but what we are doing, and we live in a what you have you done lately society. However, who you are is much more important. If you know your verb (your purpose) than what you are doing is much less important that who you are.
