LYL #018 – Elephants for Guatemala: Cee Cee Creech’s Journey to Change the World
The ultimate goal in the Live Your List journey is to multiply your gifts and abilities to give back to others. For most of us it takes decades to get there, but some us figure it out at a young age. In this episode of The Live Your List Show your hosts Jerrod and Ryan talk to our youngest guest, Cee Cee Creech, about how she ended up working with celebrities, and how one small act of kindness can change the world.

Cee Cee Creech of Elephants Remember Joplin and the Elephants for Guatemala Project
Eleven year old Cee Cee has raised over $12,100 for various charities, and collected and shared 1450 hand knit and crochet toys.
First an elephant-a-thon raised over $3000 and Cee Cee got to go share elephants in Joplin for tornado relief. Then there was knitting for Extreme Makeover:Home Edition. She’s the youngest teacher ever at Stitches, and has been featured in six national magazines.
She just got back from Stitches South and is beginning a new campaign to help the charity Kids Need to Read. She is the National Winner of the Jay C. Bucky Humanitarian Award and has gotten accolades from national celebrities, world leaders, and even US Presidents.
For the next month, Cee Cee will be knitting as many elephants as she possibly can for Ty Pennington and the Elephants for Guatemala project. You can keep up with her progress on the Elephants Remember Joplin Facebook page and cheer her on by sponsoring elephants and leaving comments! As Cee Cee knits her elephants, she will be auctioning them off and all proceeds will be donated to Ty’s Pencil’s of Promise La Independencia team. Pretty cool, right?
You can find Cee Cee and sponsor her on Facebook here.
